Growth Groups are the heart of Wild Street Church. They are where our community really deepens. It is relating with our bibles open. It is a willingness to be deeply involved in the lives of others because God got deeply involved with us in Jesus. It is the "Real with each other" part of the Wild Street mission, and involves:

Sacrificial love
Serving each other through word and deed through the joys and trials of life.

"This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers." 1 John 3:16

Celebrating grace together
Like the early church we remember the gospel through reading and teaching the bible, prayer, singing, eating together and sharing.

"42And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.” Acts 2:42-47

Commitment not convenience
We are called to meet consistently. Meeting together irregularly or infrequently means you think you can do without other.

"13But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called "today," that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin." Hebrews 13:3

Being authentic
Recognising we are more sinful than we can ever imagine and more forgiven than we could ever dream we can confess our sins to each other knowing the forgiveness of Jesus.

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. James 5:16
