The Mission of Wild Street is to be:

1. Real with God

God, as he is revealed in the Bible, has reached out to establish a life-changing relationship with us through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Because of this, at Wild Street we encourage each other to take our relationships with God seriously – to be authentic Christians – both saved and transformed by the gospel.

The Bible makes it clear that Jesus is the only way to God. Therefore, we are not free to ignore or turn away from him. Rather, we respond to what Jesus has done for us by turning away from our wrong attitudes and actions and by putting our trust in Jesus as our Ruler and Saviour. In doing so we are forgiven and at the same time receive a new heart that expresses itself in a love and devotion to God and to other people.

2. Real with each other

Arising out of our commitment to being real with God is our commitment to being real with each other. According to the Bible, those who have experienced God's deep love and forgiveness of them will also be characterised by their love and service of one another.

'Being real with each other' is how we express our commitment to being a community that genuinely loves, encourages and serves one another.
God gathers his people to encourage and spur one another on to live out authentic Christian lives. Therefore, we encourage our partners to express their love for each other in practical ways and to nurture relationships of openness, integrity and honesty, marked by mutual confession, support and prayerfulness. Wild Street strives to be a community that seeks unity in the gospel but allows diversity on matters of conscience.

3. Real with the world

Knowing that God loves the world and that Jesus has died for the world, at Wild Street church we seek to share the love and truth of Jesus with the world by our actions and our words.

Therefore, out of gratitude to God, we strive to live out lives that are consistent with what we believe and show the wisdom of getting to know Jesus and living his way. On top of that we seek to explain and teach people the truth about Jesus so that they too might have the chance to know the real hope, relationships and life that God offers all who trust him.
